Projects – Intro

Our Projects

There are no templates in demolition. We recognize that every project has its own set of challenges. From dismantling, to razing, to simple cutting, each job requires proper measuring, planning and different safety considerations. Understanding utility locations, engineering drawings, and disposal need to be factored in. As such, we intentionally approach each project uniquely, with careful consideration, as if it were our first.

Projects – Body

Carmel Post Office

Complete demolition of 30,000 square feet of concrete structure with a basement. This building was only half of the entire structure and required a building separation, new load bearing concrete walls, and utility rerouting. Kingdom Demolition worked tirelessly with the client/owners to make sure this project was completed on time and all adjacent tenants and personnel were kept safe and undisturbed.

BI-LO/Fitness Connection

The new Fitness Connection location required a complete gut of a retired BI-LO grocery store. After 65,000 SF of floor to roof deck removal, including all finishes, framing and MEP’s, Kingdom Demo provided saw cutting services for all new under slab plumbing and electrical, door and window openings.

Charlotte Motor Speedway

Kingdom Demolition completed all aspects of Charlotte Motor Speedway’s 2020 Grandstand renovation. Competing with the rapidly approaching race season and the manufacturing/distribution problems caused by a pandemic, in just a few short months Kingdom Demo successfully completed the removal and recycling of over 17,000 stadium seats and installed over 22,000 linear feet of aluminum “drink rail”.

The Thread

“The Thread” is a multi-phase large-scale redevelopment of an old mill located in Rock Hill, SC. Phase 1 included abatement, salvaging of historic building elements, selective and total demolition, slab and wall sawing. A 12,000 square foot steel beam structure, over an old spur line was safely separated from the concrete mill frame and demolished.

May St.

Kingdom Demolition was tasked with demolishing a two-story CMU building wing totaling approximately 10,000 square feet. This particular wing of the building was adjacent to the neighboring property and both shared zero lot line construction. With the neighboring property only 4 feet away and at a lower grade level we made sure to plan for every detail and possible scenario. This project was successfully and safely completed on time and incident free.

Charlotte WWTP

A renovation/repair of the digester housing tanks at Charlotte Wastewater Treatment Plant required the removal of poured in place concrete decks and skylights. Kingdom Demolition was contracted for the safe and efficient removal of these structures while keeping the digesters online and most importantly safe from any damage.
